The kinetics and mechanisms of Fischer–Tropsch Synthesis on Cobalt Catalystششمین کنگره بین المللی مهندسی شیمی
Cobalt manganese oxides were prepared using co–precipitation procedure and studied for the hydrogenation of Carbon monoxide to light olefins. The kinetic experiments of Fischer–Tropsch synthesis on a well–characterized Co\Mn\30%wt TiO2 catalyst were carried out in a fixed–bed micro reactor. Experimental conditions were as follows: temperature, 190– 280; total pressure, 1–15bar; H2\CO feed ratio (mol\mol), 1–3; space velocity, 3000–5000 h–1. 7 models for Fischer– Tropsch synthesis reaction rate were derived using the Langmuir–Hinshelwood–Houngen–Watson (LHHW) approach. In these models, different sites are assumed for FTS reactions. The kinetic parameters were estimated with non–linear regression method. The activation energy was obtained 93.773 kj\mol for optimal rate.<\div>
