In this investigation, fluor–hydroxyapatite (FHA) film was deposited on a titanium substrate by sol–gel method. Triethyl phosphite, ammonium fluoride and calcium nitrate in ethanol solutions were used respectively as P, F and Ca precursors. Typical apatite structures were obtained for all coatings after dipping and subsequent heat treatment at 550, 700 and 800 ºC.
The coating layers were investigated with SEM, XRD and FT–IR spectroscopy. The XRD results showed that the coatings heat treated at 550 ºC were only composed of HA and FA but the rutile (TiO2) phase was also identified in the coatings heat treated at higher temperatures. In addition, the formation of fluor–hydroxyapatite was confirmed by FT–IR results. Despite of the similar granular microstructure of apatite in the samples heat treated at 550 and 700 ºC, the crystalline grains of rutile were clearly visible in the samples heat treated at 800 ºC.

The effects of PVP surfactant on co–deposition of MoS2 nano–particles with electroless Ni–P coating have been investigated in this study. A stabilized well dispersed plating bath involved appropriate surfactant concentration is developed to produce nanocomposite coating with uniform nanoparticles distribution and smooth surface. Dependence of the deposition rate of the Ni–P matrix and MoS2 particles on the surfactant concentration and the concentration of MoS2 in coating were reported.<\div>

Short–term traffic flow forecasting is a critical function in advanced trafficmanagement systems (ATMS) and advanced traveler information systems(ATIS). Accurate forecasting results are useful to indicate future trafficconditions and assist traffic managers in seeking solutions to congestionproblems on urban freeways and surface streets. In this paper, in order to realizeeffective and efficient traffic forecasting, a traffic flow short–time forecastingmodel is presented based on wavelet neural network(WNN). Compared withother methods, it possesses the advantages of low computational complexity, fastconvergence speed, high goodness–of–fit and so on. Simulation results prove thevalidity of this prediction model and show Wavelet neural network has highconvergence speed and forecasting precision.<\div>
