The dynamic response of single–degree–of–freedom systems subjected to hannonic loads is considered. To this end, Green's fimction method is employed and closed–form results are obtained. This method isused for damped and undamped systems which can possess arbitrary initial conditions. An innovativetechnique is applied in order to construct the dynamic Green's fimction of the problem. A vast number of examples are presented and particular focus is placed on the response of dynamic systems in the presence ofresonance.<\div>

۲Free Vibration Analysis of a T–Shape Frame

This article deals with the free vibration analysis and determination of seismic parameters of a T–Shape frame which consists of a continuous beam and a column connected to each other by means of a semirigid Khorjini connection. Firstly, a closed–form solution is proposed and then, a numerical analysis isperformed for some comparison and validation purposes. The closed–form solution is developed by solving the frame equations of motion, directly. For this reason, some mathematical techniques such as Fourier transform and the well–known complementary solutions are utilized. Afterwards, the freevibration parameters of the frame are attained. These parameters are also obtained using finite elementmethod as a numerical analysis and it is observed that the results obtained by this approach arecompletely coincident with the result of closed–form solution. Finally, seismic parameters of the frameand seismic behavior of the semi–rigid Khorjini connection for different cases are investigated and their results are compared.<\div>
