Demands for soft land strengthening and contaminated soil solidification have been increased due to the explosion population, development of technology, industry, and transportation systems. Deep mixing methods (DMMs) are conventional methods for strengthening the soft soils. Cement (or binder) with soil have being mixed in this method. Injection of cement and additives with a high pressure and displacing the gases and liquids from within soil grains in combination with DMMs is a new wedding technique for increasing the efficiency of soil stabilization.In this paper, different kinds of deep mixing methods (conventional and new techniques) were studied. By considering the type and alternative layers of soil, load size, the situation, cost and type of project selecting the right stabilizing
method for repair and strengthening of soft soils recommended and it is believed that it could prompt engineers to resolve soil strengthening difficulties from the geotechnic–al view point.<\div>

The purpose of this article is studying the behavior of lightweight composites under metallic projectile by stress wave and comparing the results with numerical simulations. The target includes external layer, Alumina ceramic layer and supportive layer. The impact velocity of the projectile is 500 m\s. In this article, two lightweight composite targets with polymeric supportive layer and metallic supportive layer are studied. The results of numerical simulations and classic theory of stress wave propagation are in good agreement. The effect of changing supportive layer material and time of stress wave propagation into layers by the results of modeling is also studied.<\div>

In this study, the performance of an upflow sludge bed bioreactor (USBR) with intermittently aerated removing carbon and nutrient (N & P) from Faraman’s industrial wastewater (FIW) was investigated. This study was performed by varying two significant independent variables viz. HRT (4–12 h) and aeration time (40 and 60 min\h). Eight dependent parameters as the process responses were measured and calculated. The results showed that the maximum value of total COD (TCOD) removal was obtained to be 76 % at the highest value of the factors (12 h and 60 min\h). The maximum values of total nitrogen (TN) removal efficiency were found to be 62 % at HRT of 12 h and aeration time of 40\60 min\h.<\div>
