۱CO2 Sequestration In Ocean In Different Forms

In this work the strategies that can be used for CO2 reduction by sequestration in ocean has been investigated. A comparison between these strategies has been done. Injection of Co2 into the ocean in different forms (solid, liquid and hydrate) depends on the property of CO2, the method and depth for CO2 release. Depending on the details of release and local sea floor topography the CO2 could be dissolved or sink as a lake on the sea floor. CO2 hydrate can form in average ocean waters below about 400 m depth. It is denser than sea water and sinks. The increase of CO2 in sea water change the chemistry of ocean water and decreases the pH of water. Dissolving mineral carbonate could minimize changes in ocean pH. Over millennia CO2 injected into the oceans at great depth will approach approximately the same equilibrium as if it were released to the atmosphere<\div>
