The influence of pretreatment of AAO template and deposition process on magnetic NiCoFe nanowire fabricated by electroless method was investigated. The Electroless process carried out at room temperature using DMAB as a reductant agent. SEM and EDX analysis used to characterize the deposited sample. According to the results, sonication during deposition process is not recommended in fabrication of metallic nanowires or nanotubes<\div>

The influence of coating bath composition on CoNiFe–B magnetic thin film was investigated. Electroless method with different substrate of Si wafer and brass were used. AFM, SEM and EDX analysis were carried out to characterize the CoNiFe–B thin films. According to the results, Addition of the Ni2+ to electroless coating bath, not only changes the coating composition, but it also influences the morphology of the coatings and their particulate size<\div>

۳Theoretical, Numerical and Experimental Analysis of Tube–Hydroforming in Triangular Die

A major parameter that affects dimensional accuracy of a tube–hydroformed part is formation of an edge corner with a desired radius. In addition, required forming pressure produce the desired part is a function of outer corner radius of formed tube. In this paper, the forming pressure is investigated with a theoretical model, a finite–element model and an experimental set–up. To reach this goal, first a theoretical method has beenpresented to obtain forming pressure, the corner radius and initial thickness of the part effect. Then, using ABAQUS\explicit the 3D finite–element model of the forming process has been analyzed. In finite–element model, the effect of forming pressure on the corner radius was obtained for different values of pressure. In order to validate results of models, an experimental investigation has been done using a triangular die. The predicted results calculated by both the theoretical model and the finite–element simulation were found to agree well with those obtained from experimentalanalysis.<\div>

۴MECH ANICAL PROPERTIES OF PP\PC\SEBS TERNARY BLENDS

Polypropylene\Polycarbonate (PP\PC), Polypropylene\Poly(styrene–b–(ethylene–cobutylene)– b–styrene) (PP\SEBS) binary blends and PP\PC\SEBS ternary blend were produced via melt blending in a co–rotating twin–screw extruder. The influences of the PC, SEBS and core–shell particles on tensile and impact behaviours of the blends were investigated. A slight increase of the impact strength was observed in PP\PC binary blend due to addition of PC particles. While the fracture behaviour of PP\SEBS and PP\PC\SEBS blends completely changed and exceptionally high impactstrength observed. The PP\SEBS and PP\PC\SEBS blends exhibited inferior low–strain tensile properties (modulus, yield stress) than the matrix PP, but superior ultimate tensile properties while the PP\PC sample exhibited higher modulus and inferior ultimate tensile properties than the PP sample.Comparing experimental values whit the values obtained based on Kerner equation for the PP\PC\SEBS ternary blend confirmed that core–shell morphology (PC particles as a core and the SEBS phase as a shell) and individual SEBS particles formed in this blend.<\div>

In this research, we used a co–rotating twin–screw extruder to melt and blend polypropylene (PP) with polycarbonate (PC) and poly(styrene–b–(ethylene–co–butylene)–b–styrene) (SEBS). PP\PC, PP\SEBS binary blends and PP\PC\SEBS ternary blend were produced. The influences of the PC, SEBS and core–shell particles on crystallization and melting behavior of PP phase and morphology were investigated. The results showed that, in PP\PC and PP\SEBS binaryblends the crystallization of PP was affected by the presence of PC and SEBS particles. PC and SEBS particles act as a nucleation agent for PP while core–shell particles did not act as a nucleation agent. Also results showed that –phase was formed due to the presence of SEBS in the PP matrix but the – phase was not formed due to the presence of core–shell particles in the PP matrix.<\div>

This paper demonstrates a preliminary investigation of geometry, function and its relation to DFX principles, namely DFM (Design for Manufacturing). This is the starting point for research on the development of an expert system that assesses design goals along DFX principles in a feature–based CAD environment. There is a need for a deeper level of understanding of the relationship between geometry and its effects on function, in order to correct and improve the product concept before large amounts of resources are invested in the product’s development. This paper is a preliminary investigation into geometry and function involving DFM as part of an early stage of research into geometric effects on function and DFX through the use of CAD\CAE\CAM.In this paper, a concept is chosen to develop a parametric solid model that will be used to investigate a set of defined function attributes using model variants, which are evaluated in terms of the defined function attributes and DFM. The investigation found that for the functions defined, geometric parameters had less of an effect than expected. This is mainly due to the fact that the defined function attributes under investigation were associated with material properties. This paper demonstrates a preliminary investigation at the early stage of research to develop a more detailed relationship structure between geometry and functional attributes and their relationship with DFX. The end goal is to develop an integrated methodology involving geometry, function and DFX principles through the use of CAD\CAE\CAM .
