۱Glycerol Surfactant Assisted Synthesis of Fe3O4 Nanoparticles

Methods to synthesize Fe3O4 nanoparticles and to modify the surface of particles by surfactant are presented in the present investigation.Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared by a chemical coprecipitation method from Fe (III) and Fe (II) chlorides with addition of triethylamin. Also used of glycerol as the surfactant for improvment dispersion in an aqueoussolution and decrease agglomeration of nanoparticles. The obtained Fe3O4 nanoparticles were characterized by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT–IR), X–ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scaning electron microscopy (SEM). The XRD results of the mentioned study indicated thatthe synthesized Fe3O4 particles have the nanometer size, and also confirm a face centered cubic spinel structure without vacancy ordering. The structural morphology of the nanoparticles is investigated using SEM which representative homogeneous and uniform distribution of the nanoparticles<\div>
