The original DEA model does not include a decision maker (DM)’s preference structure while measuring relative efficiency, with no or minimal input from the DM. In this paper, we give an appealing method to incorporate preference information, without necessary prior judgment, using an interactive decision making technique that encompasses both combined–orientated CCR model and multiple objective linear programming (MOLP).<\div>

In this paper, based on the fuzzy simplex algorithms such as the fuzzy primal simplex algorithm and fuzzy dual simplex algorithm for solving fuzzy number linear programming problems and using the general linear ranking functions on trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, we generalize the concept of the sensitivity analysis in fuzzy number linear programming (FNLP) problems.<\div>

Ranked voting data arise when voters select and rank more than one candidate with order of preference. Cook and Kress [W.D. Cook, M. Kress, A data envelopment model for aggregating preference rankings, Management Science 36 (11) (1990) 1302–1310], using a DEA\AR model, proposed to assess each candidate with the most favorable scoring vector for him\her. However, the use of this procedure often causes several candidates to be efficient, i.e., they achieve the maximum score. For this reason, several methods to discriminate among efficient candidates have been proposed. In this paper we aim to search one common set of weights by using a voting model, to create the best efficiency score of one group composed of efficient candidates. Then, we use this common set of weights to evaluate the absolute efficiency of each efficient candidate in order to rank them.<\div>

۴Application of ranking functions to develop the network simplex algorithm on minimum cost flow problem with fuzzy parameters

In this paper, we consider the minimum cost fuzzy flow (MCFF) problems which involve fuzzy numbers in the supply\demand of nodes and flows on the arcs. Then, by using linear ranking functions we give a fuzzy flow network simplex algorithm to solve the (MCFF) problems as well as the linear programming problem with fuzzy variables which is proposed by Mahdavi–Amiri and Nasseri in [2]. This algorithm is a simplification of the fuzzy primal simplex method so that it can be applied directly on the network without the need of a simplex tableau.<\div>

In this paper, we introduce a model to evaluation DMUs in the PPS (production possibility set), whit three properties. (a) The observed activities (xj,yj), (j = l , . . . , n ) belong to PPS; (b) Any convex combination of activities in PPS belongs to PPS; (c) PPS is the smallest set that satisfying the principles (a) and (b).Then we show that the proposed model is equivalent to additive model.<\div>

In CPM, once an assignment of duration to activities has been determined, there is still flexibility in terms of timing the events. More precisely, the starting (or ending) time of any activity which is not on one of the critical paths from origin to the output vertex is not uniquely determined. The extra time available from the time point an activity is completed to the start of succeeding event is called floating time (or float) on that activity. If the float of an activity is zero, the activity becomes a critical activity. The goal is to find duration for the activities and consistent time for the events so that the total waiting times minimized. For this purpose, we define parallel paths in acyclic network and certain problem called balancing problem. Then, using network flows, minimization of total waiting time problem can be transformed into a balancing problem on an acyclic network<\div>

In this paper we are going to rank some of the most famous football teams in Asia continent by employing the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) developed for the first time by Saaty [3] in a fuzzy environment. Seven experts participated in the evaluation process and seven criteria were introduced to evaluate and rank the teams. It has been observed that there is a good correlation between our ranking method and the actual position of each team at the end of the year 2008 that was announced by AFC.<\div>

Conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) assists decision makers in distinguishing between efficient and inefficient decision–making units (DMUs) in a homogeneous group. However, DEA does not provide more information about the efficient DMUs. As an extension to data envelopment analysis (DEA), cross–efficiency evaluation not only provides a ranking among the decision–making units (DMUs) but also eliminates unrealistic DEA weighting schemes without requiring a priori information on weight restrictions. A factor that possibly reduces the usefulness of the cross–efficiency evaluation method is that the cross efficiency scores may not be unique due to the presence of alternate optima. As a result, it is recommended that secondary goals be introduced in cross–efficiency evaluation. Liang, Wu, Cook, and Zhu [Liang, L., Wu, J., Cook, W. D., & Zhu, J; (2008); Alternative secondary goals in DEA cross–efficiency evaluation; International Journal of Production Economics, 113, 1025– 1030] provided three models by introducing various secondary objective functions which are linear or can be transformed into linear programming. In this paper, we introduce a method to select the best of them as a secondary goal by using a voting model.<\div>
