A nonequilibrium dynamic stage model has been presented for reactive absorption of carbon dioxide by amines solutions. The model has been developed based on unsteady film modeling that considers mass transfer between gas and liquid phases in both directions. The model has been validated against experimental data of carbon dioxide reactive absorption in partially carbonated ammonia solution. The
experimental data has been obtained from a pilot plant absorption column. The model equations were discritized in column height direction using method of lines. A comparison of the experimental and simulation results demonstrated their good agreement.<\div>

Liquid–liquid equilibrium data were measured for two ternary systems containing aqueous propionic acid and organic solvent (toluene and p.xylene) at 303.2 K and atmospheric pressure. Phase diagrams were obtained by determining tielines data. The tie–lines data were compared with the results calculated by the UNIQUAC and the NRTL methods.<\div>

In this research, kinetic and absorption of CO2 into partially carbonated ammonia solutions have been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. An approach has been developed for absorption rate of CO2 into partially carbonated ammonia solutions based on unsteady state reaction–diffusion film modeling. Conversion film parameter and carbonation ratio have been presented as a two creations for absorption rate. Absorption rate of CO2 obtained using the approach has been compared with other researchers correlations. Three experiments have been conducted for validation of the approach using a packed column. Comparison of the approach results with experimental data shows good agreement between them.<\div>

۴Prediction of vapor liquid equilibrium data of CO2 in aqueous solution of methyldiethanol amine using thermodynamic and artificial intelegent models

The reliable design and optimization of the separation equipment such as natural gas treating equipment, at first requires the knowledge of the equilibrium properties in particular vapor–liquid equilibrium (VLE) data. In this work an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model has been developed for modeling of MDEA–CO2–H2O system. Also a thermodynamic model has been used for describing the vapor–liquid equilibrium data (which applies Pitzer’s molality–scale–based equation for describing the Gibbs excess energy of the aqueous phase) of the system.The performance of ANN model to predict equilibrium data of the system were evaluated by comparing their results with the predictions of the thermodynamic model. The results indicate that ANN model can predict the equilibrium data more accurate than thermodynamic model<\div>
