The dielectric properties of (Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate) with (Iso Amyl alcohol, tert Butyl alcohol) were measured at 298K, in the frequency 100 KHz. The constant dielectric, excess permittivity, Kirkwood correlation factor, refractive index and the burggeman dielectric factor have been obtained. A similar trend was observed in the variation of the dipole moments with the solute mole fractions in the binary systems.<\div>

۲Investigation of phase equilibria for ternary systems of (water + 1,3–butanediol + organic solvents) at T= 303.2 K

LLE data and tie lines for the ternary systems of (water + 1,3–butanediol +2–ethyl–1–hexanol)and (water + 1,3–butanediol + decanol) were measured at T = 303.2 K. The experimental ternary (liquid + liquid) equilibrium data were correlated with the NRTL model. The reliability of the experimental tie lines was con rmed using Bachman correlation. The average root–mean–square deviation (RMSD) values of (water + 1,3–butanediol + 2–ethyl–1–hexanol) and (water + 1,3– butanediol + decanol) systems were 1.38% and 1.18%, respectively. Distribution coef cients and separation factors were measured to evaluate the extracting capability of the solvents. The results show that 2–ethyl–1–hexanol may be considered as a reliable organic solvent for the extraction of 1,3–butanediol from aqueous solutions.<\div>

In this work, experimental tie–line data for the (water + phosphoric acid + 1–Octanol) system were obtained at T = 298.2, 308.2, 318.2 and atmospheric pressure. The investigated ternary system exhibits type–1 behavior of LLE. The experimental tie–line data were compared with those correlated by NRTL models. The consistency of the experimental tie–line data was determined through the Othmer Tobias and Hand correlation equations. Distribution coefficients and separation factors were evaluated over the immiscibility regions. The influence of temperature on the equilibrium characteristics and separation factor was found to be considerable at the temperatures studied. A comparison of the extracting capability of the solvent at different temperatures was made with respect to separation factors.<\div>

In this work, density and excess molar volume of two binary mixtures has been investigated at 298.2 K.These mixtures are 2,3–Butanediol+2–Ethyl–1–Hexanol (2,3BD+2EH) and 1,4–Butanediol+2–Ethyl–1–Hexanol (1,4BD + 2EH). Both of two systems were fitted to Redlich–Kister expression which 8 and 7 degree of polynomial expansion were obtained for 2,3BD + 2EH and 1,4BD + 2EH, respectively.The standard deviation was calculated and reported for both of them.<\div>

۶Thermodynamic investigation of the removal of Azure A dye from aqueous solution

In this study, rice husk was used as sorbent to remove Azure A from aqueous solution by batch sorption technique. It was seen that the removal of thionine increased with increasing initial dye concentration (from 5 to 25 mg\l), solution pH (from 2 to 7), solution temperature (from 10 to 55 °C) and sorbent dose (from 0.1 to 0.50 g\50 ml). The maximum dye removal was reached at 60 min. Sorption isotherms were analyzed by Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin models at different temperatures of 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 45 and 50 °C. Moreover, the thermodynamics of sorption were also studied. It was found that the values of standard free energy (DGo ) were negative for rice husk. The values of standard enthalpy (DHo ) and entropy (DSo ) were found to be positive, and the obtained results were interpreted in detail. Thermodynamic studies suggested the spontaneous and endothermic nature of adsorption of Azure A by treated rice husk.<\div>
