High acoustic noise and vibration is one of the main drawbacks, which have limited the wide application of switched reluctance machine (SRM). Therefore, manystudies have been carried out to reduce the acoustic noise and vibration of SRM. This paper presents a simple, practical and analytical method to increase considerably torque, reduce ripple and decrease acoustic noise with changing in configuration. The proposed motor Consists of fourmagnetically independent stator and rotor sets (layer). Each layer works exactly in a complementary way and helps to another layer in an accurate method to give a suitable torqueoutput. In this motor each layer produce high torque, therefore based on a special switching method, at a time alayer which is in its pick torque characteristic is active and other layers don’t produce any torque, and it continues periodically and four layers produce a high torque withdecrease in ripple and vibration can result reduction of acoustic noise. So when four layers work complementary with a special switching method it can generate high torque that work fluently. Simulation results prove this claim very well.<\div>

۲Improved Configurations for Dc to Dc Buck and Boost Converters

dc to dc converters are used to change the input voltage level to a desired output voltage level less (Buck converter) or more (Boost converter) than the inputvoltage magnitude. This paper proposes a novel method for increasing output power by utilizing two storage elements as well as reducing the output ripple voltage for Buck and Boostconverters. In this improved converters, two inductors are used for feeding the load by two independent switches. One inductorcharges up by the source voltage while another inductor is discharging its energy into the load during this time. Theoutput power production is almost doubled while the ripple voltage is reduced by a factor of two when compared to a conventional dc to dc converter. This paper provides theanalysis, simulation, experimental results as well as the comparison with conventional Buck and Boost converters.<\div>
