A novel method with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA– 2Na) as a stabilizing agent was developed to prepare highly ispersed Pt nanoparticles on carbon (vulcan xc–72) to use as proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell catalysts. These nanocatalysts were obtained when the EDTA–2Na\Pt ratio was maintained at 1:1. And the Pt\CNT catalyst exhibited large electrochemical active surface areas, very high electrocatalytic activity. The Pt\XC–72R catalyst with narrow size distribution was prepared by this method.<\div>

Synthesis of carbon–supported Pt\C catalysts using a new preparation technique, a reverse micelle method, is reported. Platinum nanocatalysts supported on Vulcan XC–72 carbon have been synthesized through the reduction of chloroplatinic acid with Sodium borohydride, using reverse micelles as nanoreactors in the cyclohexane medium. The performance of the Pt\C catalysts was tested by threecompartment electrochemical cell technique.<\div>

۳Preparation of new biofungicides using antagonistic bacteria and mineral compounds for controlling cotton seedling damping–off disease

The overuse of chemical pesticides in agriculture has caused serious environmental problems and thus the demand for safer pesticides is increasing. One alternative is microbial pesticides that suppress plant pathogens via their microbial activities. As microbial pesticides are eco–friendly products, in this study we prepared four biological fungicides using two isolates of Pseudomonas fluorescens that included a talc–based powder and bentonite–based powder as mineral carriers. Then we evaluated the efficacy of these products in controlling cotton seedlings damping–off, a fungal disease caused by Rhizoctonia solani at four intervals of 15, 30, 45 and 60 days after sowing the cotton seeds under greenhouse conditions. The results of greenhouse experiment on application of biofungicides showed that the efficacy of BEN–B1 treatment to control R. solani was promising as it increased the number of healthy seedlings 3.42 to 3.57 fold and was much more effective than the carboxin\thiram fungicide in all stages<\div>

In this paper, we have decided to analyze SEIR epidemic model by piecewise control function dependent on threshold policy for diseases management strategy. In this study, Ec is determined as a critical value and based on this threshold have been defined and then the timing has been specified for triggering intervention measures, when the number of exposed individual exceeds a threshold level. The solution of this model finally approaches regular\sliding equilibrium point, and this result shows that outbreak is not possible<\div>
