۱A new aqueos route for synthesizing selective size CdSe and core\shell CdSe\CdS Nanoparticles

CdSe and core\shell CdSe\CdS semiconductor nanoparticles were synthesized by chemical precipitation method in the aqueous media at room temperature.Property of this method is growth of CdSe nanocrystals specially in one set reaction, with increasing time of synthesis. The UV–Visible spectrum of CdSe shows that, the band edge absorption shift to higher wavelength with time duration of the reaction.the capping process has not lead to significant modification of the absorption spectra. Photoluminescence analyses are shown, wide emission band–width from 350 nm
to 600 nm w.r.t. size of CdSe QDs, that, it is possible to produce LED colour lights.Emission intensity of CdSe\CdS is higher than CdSe core nanocrystals. The band–width of the emissions, varied with distribution of nanoparticle sizes. Also both cubic and hexagonal crystal structures are shown by XRD<\div>

experimental results to investigate the dynamic behavior and impedance function of foundations resting on a sand layer are presented in this paper . Physical model block vibration tests were carried out in a cubic steel container of size 1.0m×1.0m× 0.8m using foundations in one circular shape. the radius of the circular foundation was 7.5cm.the employed vertical force generator was a B&K vibraiton exciter system driven by a power amplifier. using available sea sand a sandy sample with specific density was prepared and tests werecarried out for footing shape.<\div>

Metallic nanoparticles display fascinating properties that are quite different from those of individual atoms, surfaces or bulk materials. They have larger magnetization compared to metal oxides. This advantage makes them interesting for fundamental science and many applications such as magnetic data storage, medical applications and ferrofluoids. However the drawback is that they are not air stable and are also easily oxidized which results in the change or loss of their magnetization. In this paper three main categories of the metallic magnetic nanoparticles (Fe, Co, and Ni) with their advantages\disadvantages and some of the main applications have been discussed. It has been found that magnetic nanoparticles can be used to indicate\detect some diseases such as an Alzheimer<\div>

۴USE OF NANO NICKEL OXIDE IN UPGRADING OF HEAVY CRUDE OIL

Nowadays upgrading of heavy and extra heavy crude oil is an important challenge. High viscosity is the first problem in these oils. This study have focused on viscosity reduction by thermal cracking in presence of nano catalyst. NiO nano catalyst have selected to investigate effect of nano catalyst. This catalyst was prepared by participation method and It’s size of crystallite was obtained about 20nm. An experimental setup has been prepared and the heavy crude oil in the presence of catalyst was heated to 450 ˚C. Loading of nano catalyst was principle parameter and system six level was loaded. The feed viscosity after cooling was measured, and experimental results showed that in catalyst concentration 1.5wt% the viscosity reduced about 87%. This catalyst amount is the optimum value and loading more\less than 1.5wt%, decreases the upgrading efficiency. Also it was shown before optimum point there is sharp slope so that the 0.5% to 1.5% reduction in viscosity occurred in about 22% more.<\div>

۵E FFECT OF ZMS–5 CATALYST ON HEAVY CRUDE OIL UPGRADING

There are some difficulties related to the recovery of heavy and extra heavy crude oils, and also their transport to downstream industries is complicate and expensive. So there must be some ways to upgrade the heavy crude oil. This study is focused on heavy crude oil upgrading using ZSM–5catalyst. An experimental setup has been prepared and the heavy crude oil in the presence of catalyst was heated to 450 °C. The feed viscosity after cooling was measured, and experimental results showed that in catalyst concentration 1wt% the viscosity reduced about 78%. This catalyst amount is the optimum value and loading more\less than 1wt%, decreases the upgrading efficiency<\div>

۶Study of the effect of storage tank capacity on electricity consumption and solar fraction in solar adsorption cooling system

This paper presents a theoretical investigation of solar driven silica gel–water adsorption cooling system. In order to provide 24–hour air conditioning an auxiliary heater was utilized. A computer simulation program has been developed to evaluate the system performance in terms of solar fraction and average cooling capacity, using meteorological data of Tehran, Iran. The influence of storage tank capacity on auxiliary energy consumption, solar fraction and daily cooling power has been investigated. The results indicated that decrease of storage tank capacity from 400 L to 30 L decreases auxiliary energy consumption by 47% with a 3.34–fold increase in solar fraction and 27% increase of daily average cooling capacity. Furthermore, when a hot water storage tank is employed, a maximum of 8.058 kW daily average cooling power and a maximum solar fraction of 0.79 are obtained with a tank capacity of 30 L.<\div>
