The dyeing properties of a novel monoazo disperse dye on three synthetic fibres such as nylon, polyester and acrylic fibres has been investigated. The results showed that the used dye is particularly suitable for coloring nylon fibres, giving deep red and good build up. Investigation of fastness properties of dyed fibres showed that polyester and nylon had very good wash and rubbing fastnesses but acrylic had relatively weak fastnesses.<\div>

4–nitro–N–2–aminomethylepyridine–1,8–naphthalimide was prepared by imidationreaction from 4–nitro–1,8–naphthalic anhydride and 2–aminomethylpyridine in good yield. The chemical structure of product was determined by using of standard spectroscopic methods such as FTIR and DSC.<\div>

A novel antimicrobial monoazo dye based on N–pyridine–1,8–naphthalimide was synthesised. To do this, 4–amino–N–2–aminomethylpyridine–1,8–naphthalimide was prepared, diazotised and then coupled to N,N–dihydroxyethylaniline to produce an antimicrobial dye. Structure of the dye was determined by FTIR, DSC, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and UV–Visible spectroscopic techniques. The molar extinction coefficient, wavelength maxima and solvatochromism effect were obtained using chloroform, toluene and N,N–dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent. The biological efficacy of the dye and intermediates was evaluated in aqueous solution by use of conventional agar dilution procedure and a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) against fungi, Gram–positive and Gram–negative bacteria. The final product and its intermediates showed antimicrobial properties against Gram–positive and fungi<\div>

۴ab initio Molecular Dynamics Simulation on the Hydrogen Adsorption on Pt–dop Graphene

In this work, the decoration of a graphene sheet with Pt is considered as a hydrogen storage material by means of density functional theory calculations. Various active sites were considered for H2 adsorptionon the pristine graphene sheet. After full structural relaxation of the considered systems it was found that H2 molecule physisorbed on the hollowsite of the C ring of graphene surface. However H2 adsorption capability of Pt attached graphene found to be significantly enhanced. The calculatedadsorption energy for two considered systems are –0.12 and –2.46 eV, respectively. ab initio MD simulation carried out at room temperature indicate that after 130 fs, H2 molecule adsorbed on the Pt atom then dissociated to two H atoms which indicate that this material might be a superior media for hydrogen adsorption in fuel cell application<\div>

In this paper, forecasting steps of foreign currency exchange rate (FOREX) utilizing neural network is proposed and assessed. At first the concept of foreign exchange market is introduced and the influence aspects in forecasting FOREX are addressed. In this regard, the neural network is described as a powerful tool for modeling the market. The process of modeling is represented step by step. Finally, the prediction market with artificial model is analyzed and its applicability and beneficially of the proposed method is shown<\div>

۶An improved PID neural network controller for long time delay systems using particle swarm optimization algorithm

Conventional PID controller is the most popular controller in various field of industry. In spite of strong ability, this controller cannot be usually used for long time delay systems. There is a kind of neural networks called PID neural network (PIDNN) that utilizes the advantages of both PID controller and neural network simultaneously. PIDNN’s weights were in first adjusted by back propagation (BP) algorithm. BP algorithm ensures the final convergence, but the critical drawback is that the study training costs a long time. The convergence into local extremum is also possible. Hence, another method must be opted to optimize the network’s weight. This paper proposes a novel PIDNN without saturate surface namely PIDNN–PSO which its weights are adjusted using particle swarm optimization (PSO). PSO algorithm is an evolutionary optimization algorithm that due to the ease of implementation and fast convergence speed has been widely applied in many areas. The proposed controller is utilized as a controller for long time delay systems. The performance of the proposed controller is compared with the controller is designed by PIDNN–BP algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.<\div>

This paper proposes an evolutionary approach tosolve μ synthesis problem. Since a magnetic levitation system(maglev) is a nonlinear and unstable plant with practical usesin high–speed transportation and magnetic bearings is appliedfor the design and analysis of control systems. In this project μsynthesis approach is used to design controller. The μ synthesismethod maybe used to design controllers that provide robuststabilities and performance. Unfortunately mu synthesisinvolves an iterative and non convex numerical procedureknown as D–K iteration, that minimizes upper bound on mu. Butin this way some stability and performance characteristics arelost. This paper investigated a new approach to design musynthesis controller directly. It means order reduction isn’tdone. We solve mu synthesis problem as an constraintoptimization problem using memetic algorithm. Coefficients ofstructure–specified controller which satisfy mu stability andperformance conditions are obtained. This paper uses memeticalgorithm to solve this constraint optimization problem in whichrobust stability is the constraint and robust performance is thecost function should be minimized. Magnetic levitation system isused to show the effectiveness of this method.<\div>
