۱Hesitant Fuzzy Linguistic Arithmetic Aggregation Operators in Multiple Attribute Decision Making

In this paper, we investigate the multiple attribute decision making (MADM) problem based on the arithmetic and geometric aggregation operators with hesitant fuzzy linguistic information. Then, motivated by the idea of traditional arithmetic operation, we have developed some aggregation operators for aggregating hesitant fuzzy linguistic information: hesitant fuzzy linguistic weighted average (HFLWA) operator, hesitant fuzzy linguistic ordered weighted average (HFLOWA) operator and hesitant fuzzy linguistic hybrid average (HFLHA) operator. Furthermore, we propose the concept of the dual hesitant fuzzy linguistic set and develop some aggregation operators with dual hesitant fuzzy linguistic information. Then, we have utilized these operators to develop some approaches to solve the hesitant fuzzy linguistic multiple attribute decision making problems. Finally, a practical example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

۲Stagnation Point Flow of Thixotropic Fluid over a Stretching Sheet with Mass Transfer and Chemical Reaction

The stagnation point flow of thixotropic fluid towards a linear stretching surface is investigated. Mass transfer with first order chemical reaction is considered. The resulting partial differential equations are reduced into the ordinary differential equations. Dimensionless velocity and concentration fields have been computed. Graphical plots are presented to illustrate the details of flow and mass transfer characteristics and their dependence upon the physical parameters. Numerical values of surface mass transfer are first computed and then analyzed.

۳Mixed Convection Flow of Casson Nanofluid over a Stretching Sheet with Convectively Heated Chemical Reaction and Heat Source\Sink

The present study addresses the mixed convection flow of non–Newtonian nanofluid over a stretching surface in presence of thermal radiation, heat source\sink and first order chemical reaction. Casson fluid model is adopted in the present study. Magnetic field contribution is incorporated in the momentum equation whereas the aspects of nanoparticles are considered in the energy and concentration equations. Convective boundary conditions for both heat and mass transfer are utilized. Similarity transformations are employed to reduce the partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations. Series solutions of the resulting problem are obtained. Impacts of all the physical parameters on the velocity, temperature and concentration fields are analyzed graphically. Numerical values of different involved parameters for local skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt and Sherwood numbers are obtained and discussed.

۴Three–Dimensional MHD Flow of Casson Fluid in Porous Medium with Heat Generation

The magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) three–dimensional boundary layer flow of an incompressible Casson fluid in a porous medium is investigated. Heat transfer characteristics are analyzed in the presence of heat generation\absorption. Laws of conservation of mass, momentum and energy are utilized. Results are computed and analyzed for the velocities, temperature, skin–friction coefficients and local Nusselt number.

۵Numerical Analysis for Peristaltic Motion of MHD Eyring–Prandtl Fluid in an Inclined Symmetric Cannel with Inclined Magnetic Field

This article addresses the peristaltic transport of Eyring–Prandtl fluid in an inclined asymmetric channel. Heat and mass transfer phenomena along with Soret and Dufour effects is analyzed. Effects of inclined magnetic field and Joule heating are also discussed. Long wavelength approximation is adopted. Numerical computations for flow quantities of interest are analyzed. It is found that the parabolic velocity profile tends to shift from center of the channel towards the channel walls in the case of opposing flow. Velocity and temperature decrease whereas concentration increases by increasing the non–Newtonian parameter. Further the dependence of magnetic field on the angle is quite significant.

۶Flow and Heat Transfer over an Unsteady Stretching Sheet in a Micropolar Fluid with Convective Boundary Condition

This article is concerned with the flow of micropolar fluid over an unsteady stretching surface with convective boundary condition. The governing partial differential equations are first converted into ordinary differential equations using appropriate transformations and then solved for the series solutions. Influence of micropolar parameter, unsteadiness parameter, boundary parameter, Prandtl number and Biot number on the flow and heat transfer characteristics is examined. Numerical values of local Nusselt number and skin friction coefficient are presented and analyzed. It is observed that temperature is an increasing function of Biot number.
