۱Numerical study of enhancement heat transfer in a channel with 3D heat sources by vortex generators

Three dimensional numerical simulations are performed on turbulent heat transfer and air flow characteristics of a flat–plate channel with several ribs and 3d heat sources and longitudinal vortex generators (LVGs) for enhancement of heat transfer. The effects of delta winglet pair (DWP) are studied. The numerical results indicate that the application of LVGs effectively enhances heat transfer of the channel. According to the performance evaluation parameter, (Nu\Nu0)\(f\f0), and numerical simulations shown in several figures and are compared to each other, the channel with DWP trailing edge exposured in front of air flow has better overall performance than the channel without longitudinal vortex generators (LVGs). The basic mechanism of heat transfer enhancement by LVGs can be well described by the field synergy principle Papers dealing with any aspect of mechanical engineering from fundamental sciences to applications in engineering systems and nature are solicited. The resulting discretized equations have been solved iteratively through strongly implicit procedure (SIP), and results are shown in several figures and are compared to each other<\div>
