۱On the Investigation of Locating Patterns in the Design of a Rehabilitation Center for the Blind

This study, which has been conducted based on field studies and also based on methods, principles, locating patterns, analyses of the urban program as well as urban management, attempts to provide a comprehensive understanding of optimal space locating, indicators and factors relevant to site selection of a rehabilitation center for the blind and other related centers. In this regard, a number of principles including the access principle, the distance principle, the proximity principle and the principle of comfort and welfare of users and cost estimation principle along with the population criterion, the hierarchical system, the performance of centers, especially from the perspective of space distribution across the city, universal standards, architecture and design, safety and security issues, elements of spatial organization of centers, suitable physical environment, factors and obstacles along the way, coordination and efforts of organizations and relevant institutions involved in organizing and administrating these centers, social psychology in locating, identifying and studying the existing problems, the establishment of healthcare services, consulting services, support services, etc. in the proximity of the centers, as well as surveys of citizens and authorities are explained. Thus, in this project, we have tried to investigate the possibilities of greater presence of blind people in the city and to propose some solutions to a part of problems of these beloved people which include:1) Rapid access of a blind person to the information of environment;2) Rapid implementation of the proposed solutions;3) Having the cost effectiveness and low cost of the proposed solutions;4) Considering the fitness of a solution with the conditions of the environment under design;<\div>
