۱Synthesis, characterization and photo catalytic properties of N–P–codoped sno(2) with biogenic method

Two kinds of seeds are studied as non–metallic bio–precursors to synthesize biogenic N–P–codoped SnO(2) (BNP–SnO(2)). The as–prepared BNP SnO(2) samples are characterized by X–ray diffraction (XRD) , scanning electron microscopy (SEM) an UV absorption spectroscopy. Photocatalytic activity of BNP– SnO(2) are studied with experiments of Triton X–100 degradation under a 400 W high pressure mercury lamp irradiation. The results show higher photocatalytic activity of BNP– SnO(2) than SnO(2) nanometer. This work may pave a new and easy way to use of biomass to synthesize of doped metal oxides.<\div>

۲Determination and validation of Biotin 5 mg tablet by High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

A simple and precise HPLC method was developed and validated for the determination of Biotin 5mg in pharmaceutical dosage forms. Chromatography was carried out on MZ– C18 (5μm, 4.6mm×25cm) column using a mixture of Buffer: Acetonitrile (80:20%) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 (ml\min)–1.The analyte was monitored using UV detector at 210 nm. The proposed method is found to be having linearity in the concentration range of 3–15 (μg\mL)–1 with correlation coefficient of r2=0.9999. The developed method has been statistically validated and found simple and accurate. The mean recoveries obtained for Biotin 5mg are in the range 90.0–110.0 %. Due to its simplicity, rapidness, high precision and accuracy of the proposed method it may be used for determining Biotin 5mg in bulk and dosage forms.<\div>

۳Synthesis of Molecularly Imprinted Polymer (MIP) for Imipramine selective determination

The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) are polymers possessing specific cavities designed for a target molecule. MIP are synthetic polymers having a predetermined selectivity for a given analyte, or group of structurally related compounds that make them ideal materials to be used in separation processes. In this study new absorbent for molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction of Imipramine from aqueous solution was synthesized using Methacrylic acid (MAA) as functional monomer, Ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as a cross linker, 2–2'–Azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as initiator and chloroform as porogen, causing a non–covalent bulk polymerization. The synthesized polymer was characterized by IR spectroscopy and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The effect of different parameters such as pH, extraction time and amount of adsorbent on the method efficiency were evaluated.<\div>
