Nowadays, heavy metals pollution of water resources represents an important environmental problem due to their toxic and carcinogenic effects and accumulation throughout the food chain. In this study, biosorption of Cd(II) from aqueous solution was carried out by using green algae Enteromorpha sp. In this research the effects of biosorption time, temperature,pH, adsorbent were studied and metal ion concentration, were considered. The most effective pH was found to be 6. The biosorption capacities were solution pH dependent and the maximum uptake for Cadmium with initial concentration 50, 100 and 150 mg\L at pH 6 were obtained 95.5, 94.8 and 93.9%, respectively. First–order equation described the kinetic of Cd2+biosorption. The equilibrium adsorption data are fitted to Langmuir isotherm model. This study shows that Enteromorpha sp. can be a valuable material for removal of Cadmium from aqueous solution wastewater.<\div>
