۱Crystallization Behavior in Interface of Flouromica–Diopside Glass–Ceramic Composits

A glass–ceramic\ glass–ceramic composite was made by sintering route of a combination of two different flourophlogopite (SiO2–Al2O3–MgO–K2O–F) and diopside (CaO–SiO2–MgO–P2O5) – based glass systems. The first glass–ceramic supplied the machinability and the second one was improved the mechanical properties of the composites. Sintering of individual and composite glasses was done between 800 and 1100◦C for an interval of 15–120 min. It was shown that a new crystalline phase which named flouroapatite [Ca5(PO4)3(F)] was precipitated within the interfaces of diopside – flourophlogopite glass– based particles during sintering, through diffusion of Ca2+ ions from the first glass to the later one.<\div>

۲Effect of Fe2O3 addition on crystallization of SiO2–Na2O–CaO system glasses

Crystallization behavior of soda–lime foam glass composition investigated by addition of iron oxide (Fe2O3) up to 32 %wt using reducing agent such as SiC. Crystallization temperature of Fe–bearing Diopside (Fe0.35Al0.2Mg0.44)Ca0.96(Fe0.08Si0.7Al0.2)2O6.12, Acmite\Aegirine NaFe(SiO3)2 decreased with increasing iron content from 900oC to 850 oC. Magnetite plays key role as an intermediate phase on which pyroxene heterogeneously crystallizes. Presence of SiC also intensifies crystallization without remarkable change in temperature. Samples with 29gr part weight Fe2O3, showed desirable foaming behavior along with crystallization<\div>
