One way to reduce waste of energy consumption is using thermal insulation. Today, the common thermal insulation such as glass wool and stone wool problems leads using new type of insulation that are classified as modern insulation. This technology is used to reduce thermal conductivity through the paint and used in buildings, pipes and storage tanks, oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Paint additive used in this work is known as hollow glass micro spheres. This sort of thermal insulation coatings could also cover some other requirement of industries such as resistance to corrosion. Because of existence of corrosive species in oil, gas and petrochemical industry one of the essential features of these coatings is their resistance to corrosion, and in fact, the direct and indirect energy loss can be prevented. In this paper we try to describe the factors that will effectively influences on thermal conductivity of these coatings. It is well defined that the preparation of the paint to get the best thermal insulating properties is very important. And show how this coating could reduce energy. There are 3 sizes of hollow glass micro spheres that have been used in this investigation.<\div>
