In this paper a new auxiliary circuit is introduced for buck, buck–boost, forward and flyback converters. This auxiliary circuit provides zero oltage
switching condition for the main switch and diode while providing zero current switching condition for the auxiliary switch and diodes. The proposed ZVT PWM buck converter is analyzed and various converter operating modes are presented. A very simple design method for auxiliary circuit is discussed. Experimental results of ZVT buck converter from a 140 W laboratory prototype switching at 120 KHz are presented. Also the
experimental results of a ZVT flyback converter are shown.<\div>

In this paper a new three phase DC link soft switching inverter is introduced. The auxiliary circuit of the proposed inverter is composed of two switches beside the DC link switch. All switches in the proposed inverter are soft switched. The proposed auxiliary circuit provides zero voltage switching condition for the main inverter switches independent of the link current direction. An analysis of this inverter topology is presented and various operating modes are explained in details. The inverter simulation is performed to validate the analysis.<\div>

This paper offers a new converter for switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive which uses one switch in each phase. One switch for each phase is the least number of switches among the converters used in the switch reluctance motor drive. Also, the proposed converter enjoy from an important characteristic which makes it suitable for high speed drive applications. This is due to the fast phase current commutation capability of this converter. Therefore, the generation of negative torque and consequently, large generated torque ripples in SRM drive are resolved. SRM drive simulation using the proposed converter is presented and the results are compared with the asymmetric converter which is usually used in SRM drives.<\div>

۴Zero–Current Transition Interleaved Boost Converter

In this paper, a new ZCS PWM auxiliary circuit for the interleaved boost converter is introduced which uses only one auxiliary switch to provide soft–switching condition. In the proposed interleaved converter, soft switching is obtained for all semiconductor devices. The main and auxiliary switches turn on and off under zero–current condition. Thus, the reverse–recovery losses of boost diodes are reduced and also, high efficiency is achieved due to reduction of switching losses. In addition, the proposed circuit is controlled by pulse–width modulation (PWM) method. The converter is analyzed and the design procedure is discussed. Simulation results are presented to verify the validity of theoretical analysis.<\div>

A novel 3–Level converter configuration for switched reluctance motor is proposed. Using the 3–Level converter, switched reluctance drive has a fast magnetisation and fast demagnetisation to improve dynamic performance and efficiency. Also the proposed converter is suitable for high speed drive application, due to the fast magnetisation and thefast phase current commutation (fast demagnetisation) capability. In this paper a new isolated SEPIC converter which is a proper choice for PV applications, is introduced and analyzed. The proposed converter has the advantage of high voltage gain while the switch voltage stress is same as a regular SEPIC converter. The converter operating modes are discussed and design considerations are presented. Also simulation results are illustrated which justifies the theoretical analysis. Finally the proposed converter is improved using active clamp technique.<\div>

This paper describes the design method and analysis of a new zero–voltage–switching (ZVS) bidirectional flyback dc\dc converter. The converter is based on extending a previously developed unidirectionalZVS flyback converter with a soft–switching auxiliary cell. The operating modes of the auxiliary circuit are changedin a way to provide ZVS condition in both power directions. Simulation results are presented to justify the theoretical analysis.<\div>

۸Class AB Amplifier with Simultaneous Amplitude and Output Current Tracking

In this paper a new technique is introduced for simultaneous amplitude and output current tracking of class AB amplifier. In the proposed circuit, the output voltage isprovided by a class AB amplifier benefiting from the linear characteristic of this amplifier. However, the load current is provided by a class D amplifier in order to increase theefficiency. Furthermore, the class D amplifier provides the supply voltage of class AB amplifier with the capability ofamplitude tracking. The proposed technique is simulated using PSpice software. Simulation results show efficiency improvement of at least 6% in comparison to currenttracking technique. Also, experimental results are presented to justify the validity of theoretical analysis and simulation results.<\div>

In this paper, a new soft–switching forward type inverter is presented for low power applications. This inverter is composed of a main and a clamp switch on the DC side and lowfrequency switches on the ac side. This paper introduces a new topology to improve the power factor and reduce the total harmonic distortion in three phase bridge rectifiers. For this purpose, an auxiliary circuitconsisting of three switches is added to the conventional diode bridge rectifier which operates at high switching frequency andtherefore, the auxiliary circuit volume is low. The main features of this topology are simple structure and control, low cost and high efficiency. Simulation results are presented in order to justify the performance of the proposed circuit.<\div>
