Skin detection is the preliminary stage of manycomputer vision applications. In this paper, a statistical fusionmodel is proposed for detecting skin regions in arbitrary images.We used conditional random field (CRF) to statistically combinethe information of different color spaces and model the spatialrelationship between image pixels. The conditional probabilitydistribution of labels (skin or non–skin) given differentrepresentations of raw images in various color spaces is modeled.For a test image, the label image is inferred using the learnedCRF model. The experimental results verify the success of ourproposed method.<\div>

۲Near–fault Effects on Inelastic Displacement Ratios of Soil–MDOF structure Systems

In this paper, effects of Soil–Structure Interaction (SSI) on constant–ductility inelastic displacement ratios of multi–story structures are addressed under artificial pulse models. The soil beneath the superstructure is simulated based on the Cone model concept. The superstructure is modeled as a nonlinear multi–degree–of–freedom (MDOF) shear building. It is demonstrated that SSI effects make inelastic displacement ratios of buildings increase for both forward directivity and fling pulses. Slenderizing the superstructure also leads to increase of inelastic displacement ratios. Inelastic displacement ratios obtained from fling pulses show a distinct peak value and have more regular trend than forward directivity ones. Furthermore, the results demonstrate that there is pulse–to–fixed–base period ratio below which fling effects are governing and result in greater inelastic displacement ratios.<\div>

۳Response of soil–structure systems to pulse and high–frequency components of near–fault motions

This paper attempts to investigate the effects of different components of near–fault ground motions on the response of soil–structure systems. The structure and soil are simulated as a nonlinear SDOF oscillator and a semi–infinite cone. The results show that high–frequency effects are more significant for short–period structures. As structural ductility increases, pulse component effects increase. Moreover, increasing pulse period causes domination of high–frequency component. Additionally, SSI effects lead to domination of pulse component and slenderizing the super–structure mitigates the high–frequency effects<\div>

۴Investigation of mechanical properties of Mg–micro\nano HA composite fabricated by powder metallurgy

In this study, Hydroxyapatite powder was synthesized in micro and nano scale, using wet chemical precipitation method. Magnesium–Hydroxyapatite composites were prepared by pure Magnesium and synthesized Hydroxyapatite powders employing powder metallurgy method. The effect of particle size and Hydroxyapatite concentration on microstructure and mechanical behavior of composites were investigated. In the presence of Hydroxyapatite, a significant improvement was seen in the mechanical properties. The mechanical properties and the HA distribution were better in the nano–scale composites than the micro–scale, probably due to the higher surface to volume ratio. The composite with 3 wt. % nano–Hydroxyapatite showed optimum mechanical properties, with 80.88 V hardness, and 131.52 MPa Ultimate shear stress. Hydroxyapatite particles strength the grain boundaries which result in improving the mechanical properties of composites<\div>

۵Human Role Assignement in Social Events

We encounter with the problem of role assignment to different persons in video events. Social role can be understood by human interactions and is a key part of human event description. We propose supervise framework here, where role labels are available in training phase. To model problem Conditional Random Field is used because inter–role interaction of different characters is key part of problem. Some features extracted from appearance, movement and different aspects of person which is called unary features. Also some features are extracted from inter–role interaction of people which is called pairwise features. Unary and pairwise features are needed to train CRF model. A new marginal based learning method is used for model parameter estimation. For model evaluation, social role dataset which is collected from YouTube website is used. Performance of model is compared with some baselines including Ramanathan CRF Model which is a state of the art model in this area.<\div>

The lifetime of a cutting tool is an important and determinant parameter for evaluating its performance. The amount of tool abrasion affects seriously dimensions and surface quality of the working piece so that one of the main factors to determine the lifetime of a tool is the level of its wearing. For this purpose, an abrasion standard is defined for each particular tool above which the tool is not applicable any more. In the current paper, studies are concentrated on the machining of PH–hardened Austenitic–ferritic (Duplex) stainless steel (330HRC) to analyze the effect of tool wear on the lifetime of the ceramic cutting tool with Alumina base (aluminum oxide). Abrasion tool parameters like Flank wear, Crater wear, and Notch wear have been considered. To develop the mathematical models for the parameters considered in tool wear, the experimental results are applied in multi regression analysis (MRA) and the results obtained by these models are considered and analyzed by the analysis of variance (ANOVA).
