Lack of knowledge of the asphaltene properties,its complex nature and large number of parameters affecting its precipitation, make thermodynamic models incapable of predictingamount of asphaltene precipitation without extensive pre–data fitting. To solve this problem, mathematical models proposed to predictasphaltene precipitation more accurately.
