Cement industry is among the major greenhouse gas–producing industries. This huge amount of emission is due to two reasons. The first reason is the cement production process and the second is the high level of energy consumption in this industry changing this industry to one of the most energy consuming ones. Greenhouse gases are produced in two separate sections in this industry; the first one includes the cement production process and the second entails energy consumption. Therefore, corrective measures can be highly effective to reduce the amount of CO2 production in the cement production process. Regarding this issue, some corrective approaches are provided<\div>

A wasteminimizationmodelplays an important rolein management and eduction ofwaste generatedonconstructionproject sitessince it provideseffective waysto assess their operation, analyzewaste production sources, and improvethe effectiveness of minimizationprocesses. Regarding themain sources of construction waste(design changes, leftover materialscraps, wastes from packaging,design\detailing errors, and poor weather),potential strategiesfor minimizing the wasteweredefinedand applied in the modelas: (1) proposing enactment of required regulations to encourage reduction, re–using, recycling and suitable disposal of construction waste (2) avoiding or reducing the generation of waste at the source; (3) re–using waste materials; and (4) recycling the residuals and applying them in public projects.Besides, an equation was proposed to determine the ranking and efficiency of theparametersbased ontheirscoresobtained in afull scale project<\div>

Regarding the high population density and the need for constructionofnew facilitiesand sanitary landfills,the change of land useonthe contaminated areas of Shahre–Raywouldbe necessary in the future.However, Changes of use on contaminated land could proceed provided that the land is suitable for the intended use or can and will be remediated to a level appropriate to its intended use. By using the dataprovided in this survey, for Shahre–Ray region, the change of use could be developed for residential or recreational purposes after conducting an appropriate remediating technique.<\div>
