In this paper, a new signal processing technique on multiple piezoelectric sensors\actuators for structural health monitoring of steel structure joints is presented. This technique couples the Fast Fourier Transformer with the Wavelet MATLAB Simulink to process the signals of multiple piezoelectric sensors\actuators. Signal processing shows high accuracy to identify loose bolts on a steel bridge joints. This new signal processing is an on–line method to identify the damage locations when piezoelectric is used as smart sensor\actuator for variety of structures with different faults<\div>
