۱An Analytical Solution for Rotating Composite Cylinder under Various Loading Conditions

In this paper a displacement based discrete–layer analytical solution is presented for problem of a long general laminated composite cylinder under various mechanical and thermal loading conditions. In this solution the distribution of temperature through the thickness of the cylinder can be constant, or have linear or polynomial distribution. From the three–dimensional elasticity formulation a reduced displacement field is determined for a long general laminated composite cylinder. Equilibrium equations of each layer are solved analytically and continuity condition are imposed for the out of plan stresses and radial displacement within the interfaces of layers. It is observed that interlaminar shear stresses vanish in long cylinder far from the boundaries (edges) of the cylinder. Numerical results are presented for the stresses and displacement within laminated composite cylinder under rotation, torsion, pressure and thermal load<\div>
