The modern Russian economy is going through a complicated period of its existence; it is ineffective, poorly innovational, raw–material oriented and, which is the main point, non–competitive. All this is going on in the face of all the conditions, necessary for successful development. The situation is worsened by Russia's entering the World Trade Organization.
