In this study, nanofibers of poly (lactide–co–glycolide) (PLGA) were electrospun through a single nozzleby electrospinning method. This method successfully produced both randomly–oriented and alignedPLGA nanofibrous scaffolds. However, the average fiber diameter of PLGA nanofibrs was evaluated byanalyzing the SEM images used Image J software. Optimization of fiber diameters was carried out invarious conditions. The optimum conditions were obtained with a polymer solution concentration of %42(w\v) at a feeding rate of 52%0 ml\h and a high voltage of 1.20 kV. The distance of collector from theneedle tip was 15 cm. Randomly oriented and aligned PLGA nanofibrous matrices were successfullyprepared.<\div>
