This study is based on Meta Cognitive Strategies of Learning and how it can increases students’motivation.This study do in Karaj city and offers suggestions for apply this method forstudents.The method of this study is Semi–experimental research method on the boys in12–14years old, including 200 students, of whom 50 were selected using stratified random samplinginto two control groups (n=25for each group)were divided. Instruments included the AcademicMotivation Scale and the average score of students in the second semester of Karaj Schools in2013–2014year. The results of the data using analysis of covariance showed that cognitive andmeta cognitive strategies training have a positive effect on students' motivation.<\div>
