۱Predictive Field Oriented Control of PMSM Using Fuzzy Logic

This paper deals with two popular and powerful methods in electrical drive applications. The first one is field oriented control (FOC) and the other one is space vector modulation (SVM). The proposed FOC–SVM method is incorporated with a predictive current control (PCC) based technique. The proposed method estimates the desirable electrical torque to track mechanical torque at fixed speed operation of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The estimated torque is used to calculate the reference current based on FOC. In order to increase the performance of the traditional SVM, predictive current control (PCC) is established as switching pattern modifier. In addition, to manage the uncertainty of theestimated values and their error, a fuzzy inference system is cooperated with the proposed FOC–SVM–PCC controller. The performance of the proposed technique is evaluated in terms of torque and current ripple and transient response to step variations of the torque command.<\div>

A new multi–stage noise shaping ΣΔ modulator based on resonation strategy is proposed. This new structure achieves noise shaping with 2–order higher than a traditional one. Moreover, the resolution of this modulator is further increased by optimization of noise transfer function zeros. Using unity signal transfer function in this architecture reduces integrator output swing and makes it robust to nonlinearities of the amplifiers. Thus, the proposed modulator has higher resolution and lower power consumption than a conventional cascade modulator. Analytical calculations and behavioral simulation shows the effectiveness of the proposed architecture.<\div>

۳Facial Expression Recognition Based on Anatomical Structure of Human Face

Automatic analysis of human facial expressions is one of the challenging problems in machine vision systems. It has many applications in human–computer interactions such as, social signal processing, social robots, deceit detection, interactive video and behavior monitoring. In this paper, we develop a new method for automatic facial expression recognition based on facial muscle anatomy and human face structure. The algorithm finds approximate location of effective facial muscles and extracts features by measuring skin texture in 11 local patches. Seven facial expressions, including neutral are being classified in this study using AdaBoost classifier and other classifiers on MMI databases. Experimental results show that analyzing skin texture from selected local patches gives accurate and efficient information in order to identify different facial expressions.
