۱Study on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin based on bisphenol F (DGEBF), in the presence of nanofiller

In the past decade, spates of research activities have been reported for improving mechanical properties of epoxy composites. Nanoparticles can significantly alter the mechanical properties of the polymer close to the particle surface due to changes in polymer chain mobility. As the matter of fact, silica has played an important role in reinforcement components due to nanoscale effects.In this study, the mechanical properties of epoxy resin based on bisphenol F (DGEBF) with amine curing agent, in the presence of silica filler in comparison of different nanoscale concentrations were determined. The mechanical properties of epoxy nanocomposites were measured via tensile test that were performed on dog–bone specimens (ASTM D3039 with crosshead speed of 1mm\min). SEM pictures were shown the agglomeration event in higher percentage of nanofiller. On the basis of obtained results, the strength of epoxy composite depends on the nanofiller amount because of agglomeration events<\div>

Liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for the ternary water + 2–methylaziridine + chloroform system have been obtained at 288.2, 298.2 and 313.2 K and under ambient pressure. Aziridines are used in paper, textileand photography industries. Data for binodal curves have been determined by cloud point method and conjugate points on the tie lines were obtained by correlating the refractive index curves as a function of composition. Extraction capability of chloroform, as the solvent, was revealed in terms of distributioncoefficient and separation factor. Distribution coefficient of 2–methylaziridine in organic\aqueous phases is lees than one; however, its separation factor is more than 180; indicating that 2–methyaziridine in aqueous solutions can be effectively extracted with chloroform. Furthermore, The NRTL and UNIQUAC models were used to correlate the experimental data. Results showed that both the models can representexperimental data satisfactorily (root mean square values of 0.0167 and 0.0188, respectively). The NRTL equation fitted the experimental data to some extent better than the UNIQUAC equation.<\div>
