Due to the progressing development of multiband and multiservice communication systems requires a filter with multiple bands as well as smaller sizes is one of the most challenging tasks In This paper a miniaturized microstrip dual–band band pass filter (BPF) with capability of filtering in C and X frequency bands is presented. Space Mapping (SM) technique is used to design the BPF while the all design and simulation steps performed by the advance design system (ADS) simulator. The filtering frequency bands of the BPF are set at the 7.5 GHz and 8.5GHz. The simulated results of scattering parameter are obtained as below: S21=–1.38 dB, S11=–11 dB, S21=–0.52 dB, S11=–13.8 dB. In order to validate the simulated result, the proposed design is fabricated and tested. The measured results show that the filtering frequency bands are achieved at the 7.48 GHz and 8.49 GHz with the S_parameters of S21=–1.44 dB, S11=–10.7 dB and S21= –0.55 dB, S11= –13.3 dB. The measured data error tolerance compared to the simulation results is less than 3% and 4%. The fabricated physical device’s size is 23×3mm2 which occupies a very low volume.<\div>
