This study examines the stress relaxation behavior of carboxylated styrene butadiene rubber(XSBR)–multiwall carbon nanotube(MWCNT) nanocomposites prepared using a ball mill in the latex form. The subsequent experiments were carried out on solid samples. The stress relaxation experiment can be taken into account among the best approaches to pursue the microstructure of a nanocomposite particularly CNT one. CNT nanocomposites displayed a higher elastic behavior both in opposite and negative imposed second step strains, however, a stronger elastic behavior was observed for negative one<\div>

In this study preparation of carboxylated styrene butadiene rubber (XSBR), multiwall carbon nanotube nanocomposite (MWCNT) was investigated by using a ball mill and in the latex form. Rheological properties such as storage modulus and viscosity along with FT–IR spectrums were used to follow the microstructure of nanocomposite. The results showed that addition of ZnO, along with functionalized carbon nanotube can effectively activate the carboxylated latex and consequently improve the rheological properties of nanocomposite<\div>
