The sound transmission performance of multilayer systems containing poroelastic materials is of utmost importance for noise control in automobiles, aircrafts and several other engineering applications. The structure analyzed in this work consists of a simply supported aluminum doublewalled cylinders lined with elastic porous materials. This paper describes a SEA model to predict the high frequency transmission loss through the shells in diffuse field. The results from the SEA model are compared with analytical model. Measurements of the random incidence transmission loss of aluminum double– walled cylinders lined with polyurethane foam are presented to validate the proposed SEA model. Analytical results confirmed the accuracy of this SEA model<\div>
