Electrochemical behavior of A516 Gr60 carbon steel in Diethano1amine (DEA) solutions containing hydrogen sul:fide (lI.2S) at pH=1O.2 was investigated. Potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS)
techniques were performed at various temperatures within the range of 25°e to 800e and different concentrations of DEA. Results obtained showed that in the presence of H2S, a meta–stable passive sulfide :film is funned on the su.rfilce and corrosion current density is increased. By increasing temperature and amine concentration, corrosion
potential and icon– increased and passive stability region decreased. Nyquist plots from EIS results revealed two time constants fur corrosion processes; a capacitive loop with a depressed semicircle at high frequencies due to charge transfer and a straight line at low frequencies region due to Warburg diffusion. The EIS results were then fitted with
equivalent circuits. Results obtained indicated that diffusion of Fe2+ ions (produced from anodic dissolution) and atomic hydrogen (Hj (produced from reduction of HS· ions) across the sulfide :film is a rate determining step. Warburg coefficient (s) extracted from Randles plots (Zre Vs 0)11l) decreased by increasing the amine concentration and this indicates that compaction of sul:fide film has decreased. By increasing the temperature, the diameter of the first capacitive loop decreased.<\div>

Fabrication of titania nanotube arrays by anodization of titanium foil in a fluorinated dimethylformamide (DMF) was investigated. The surface morphology of anodized samples were explored using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The prepared anodic film has a highly ordered nanotube–array surface architecture. Compared with water–based electrolytes, much longer and smoother nanotubes can be grown in DMF electrolytes. Influence of applied potential on the topologies of the anodized titanium was also studied. Increasing the anodization potential results in longer nanotubes with greater diameter and wall thickness.<\div>

In this paper, a novel sinusoidal PWM Switched Power Filter (SPF) and Dynamic Voltage Compensation (DVC) scheme using VSC\SMC\B–B controller for power mitigation and qualityenhancements in medium power distribution networks are simulated and run. The system is based upon a stand alone WindEnergy Conversion Scheme (WECS) using an induction generator and the proposed system control mechanisms, which are digitallysimulated by using the MATLAB\Simulink\SimPowerSystems software.<\div>

In this paper, a novel strategy for applying vector control methods for BDFM is investigated. It is always intended in vector control methods to calculate torque and flux of themachine by transforming the machine equations into a proper system. The main idea is taken from the control method fordirect current motors. It is notable that this method has more complexity than scalar control methods, and it is used in applications requiring accurate and fast response.Furthermore, there is no mutual inductance between two windings of stator. To achieve this, the winding of each phase isformed by a number of coils in series. The arrangement of these coils is in a way that the resultant of induced voltages in the winding of each phase due to the field of other winding is zero<\div>
