Traditionally, workpiece holding fixtures have been designed and fabricated only for mass production whereby high lead–time and high cost of fixture design and preparation is justified through huge amount of parts which have been produced. New tendency toward manufacturing of low–volume, high–repetitive products compels manufacturing engineers to modify conventional opinion of fixture design for lowvolume production in order to minimize and if possible eliminate design and preparation of fixtures. A new technology of machining plate like components is represented in this paper and its possibility is validated through a practical test.<\div>

۲Removal of Zn(II), Ni(II) and Pb(II) from acidic wastewater by Foam Fractionation

In this research, a foam fractionation setup is applied to remove Zn(II), Ni(II), and Pb(II) from a simulated acidic wastewater. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is used to generate the foam. An increase in SDS\metal molar ratio enhances the removal of heavy metals. However, increase in SDS concentration and air flow rate result in wetter foams, leading to generation high volumes of foam that lower both enrichment and separation factors. It is demonstrated that foam fractionation is a promising technique for removal of heavy metals from feeds with low concentrations<\div>
