۱Evaluation of Different Equations of State in Prediction of Gas Hydrate Formation in Presence of Different Inhibitors

In this paper, proposed algorithm by Parrish and Prausnitz (PP) is used in calculation of gas hydrate formation conditions. In order to check the effect of different equations of state in prediction of gas hydrate formation conditions in presence of inhibitors, Peng–Robinson (PR), Soave–Redlisch–Kowang (SRK) and truncated Elliott–Suresh–Donohue (ESD) were implemented in PP algorithm. Meanwhile in spite of origin algorithm, estimation of component mole fractions in aqueous phase has modified using φַ φ approach and a trail and error procedure which caused higher accuracy in predictions applied. The results show that PR and truncated ESD give better results in comparison with SRK model. However in presence of inhibitors like DEG, using ESD model instead of PR improves the accuracy of calculations effectively.<\div>
