In this paper a method for selecting optimal location, sizing and determining the service areas of source substations using dynamic methodology is proposed and proper objective function has been formulated. Proposed algorithm is based on gaining minimum losses and fixed costs. Cost function considers land lot and facility installation costs in HV and MV sides, and also energy and power losses costs . Our algorithm is based on a mathematical programming method and for optimization procedure Branch & Bound method is employed. The algorithm has been applied in a real energy distribution system expansion problem successfully.<\div>

Plug–in–hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), are becoming more popular. The batteries of these plug–in–hybrid electric vehicles can act as storage and participate in variouselectricity markets. In this paper, optimal size of parking lots providing vehicle–to–grid (V2G) power is studied. The multiobjectivefunction in order to find the size and location of parking lots is a combination of active and reactive power indices, voltage profile index and peak time index. Power flow is done utilizing backward–forward sweep method. Finally, simulation is carried out on a 37–bus test system. Also, the effect of variation in battery charge rate on the simulation results is investigated.<\div>
