Because of the significance L–lysine economics, biochemical pathways of Llysine synthesis have been intensively investigated and elucidated, aiming inincreasing lysine production and reduction of production costs. Upon cellularabsorption, glucose is phosphorylated to glucose–6–hosphate with theconsumption of phosphoenolpyruvate (phosphotransferase system), whereas sucrose is converted into fructose and glucose–6–phosphate by the phosphotransferase system and invertase reaction. Glucose is catalyzed through the Embden–Meyerhof–Pamas (glycolysis) and pentose phosphatepathways. During glucose catabolism, glucose–6–phosphate isomerase (EC 5.3. 1.9) and glucose–6– phosphate dehydrogenase (EC 1.1. 14.9) compete for the substrate glucose–6–phosphate, resulting into either fructose– 6 phosphate or 6–phosphogluconolactone, respective<\div>

۲New Correlation for Calculation of Hydrocarbon Gas Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP) Using Slim Tube Experimental Data

This paper presents a new empirical correlation for estimating the minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) required for miscible hydrocarbon gas flooding. Only few empirical correlations exist for determining the MMP. These correlations are often used to estimate the MMP without considering the composition of the injected gas. On the other hand these correlations are based on a limited set of experimental data which are not quite applicable. In addition, in such correlations the complex condensing\vaporizing displacement process is not regarded. In this study, MMP has been correlated with temperature, oil composition and injection gas composition. The new correlation is based on experimental measured MMP data in literature and data derived from slim tube experiment in this study. This new correlation investigates the influence of the vaporizing\condensing drive mechanism and oil and gas composition on miscibility pressure. It was found that the new correlation is significantly more accurate than other correlations.<\div>
