۱Stability Analysis of a Peak and Deep Current Mode Buck–Boost Converter

In this converter, the problem of interference between buck and boost switches operations are solved by determining four operation modes. The average modeling method is used to obtain a model for the low frequency behavior of the converter. Stability analysis is performed by the root–locus method, which reveals that the current loop causes that the converter acts as single pole system due to the great distance between two poles’. The model also applied for control design. The experimental results on an 110V, 40KW converter show the ability of the proposed control method. The line and load regulation in different situation is below than 0.9%.<\div>

۲A High Performance Controller for Parallel Operation of three–Phase UPSs Powering Unbalanced and Nonlinear Loads

In this paper, a high performance controller for parallel operation of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) is proposed. The proposed controller is based on synchronous reference frame that is developed for parallel UPSs. Applying master–slave algorithm in this controller, power sharing and voltage regulation are controlled centrally by master UPS and commands are send through CAN bus to slave UPS. But each UPS performs voltage harmonic compensation locally and independently. Virtual impedance technique is used to share harmonic currents perfectly. Controller also is modified for unbalanced nonlinear loads. The performance of the proposed controller has been verified with simulation results for 20KVA, 380V three–phase parallel UPS.<\div>

۳Fixed Frequency Sliding Mode Controller for the Buck Converter

In this paper a sliding mode controller is proposed for a continuous current mode buck converter. High proficiency and simplicity of implementation are the most significant features of the proposed controller. To fix the switching frequency of the converter, the sign function which generates the discontinuous control law in sliding mode controller, is replaced with a hysteresis relay whose cycle is calculated respect to the acceptable output voltage ripple. The proposed controller is analyzed and simulated for an 8kw, 150V to 100V buck converter with Matlab (Simulink Toolbox). Simulation results show the high performance of the proposed controller specifically the switching frequency which is fixed at 16 KHz.<\div>

۴Theoretical and Practical Considerations Relating to Design High– Voltage IGBT Valve

In this paper some theoretical and practical considerations relating to design a high–voltage IGBT valve are presented. Different technical aspects of a designed IGBT valve, such as cooling system, protection system, and optic communication, are considered. Furthermore, a switch mode current source power supply with high isolation capability are proposed and described in details. To check the performance of proposed power supply system an experimental setup is constructed. Experimental results show the effectiveness and feasibility of constructed valve’s power supply system.<\div>
