۱Hard X–ray emission analysis based on Wavelet transform in low energy Dense Plasma Focus device

Hard x–ray emission by the bremsstrahlung is an important subject in Dense Plasma Focus device. Finding method to increase the emitted hard x–ray is interesting in Dense Plasma Focus operation. In this paper, we have studied hard x–ray emission by using low energy Dense Plasma Focus in different pressures for a copper anode with a diameter of 15mm. The high purity nitrogen is used as a working gas. The optimum pressure that attains the maximum intensity is belonged to 0.6 torr. For the first time we used wavelet transform to characterize time–frequency activity of hard x–ray emission in various pressures in DPF. The results show that time–frequency activity of hard x–ray intensities enhance at upper pressures, and maximum activity is at 0.6 torr<\div>
