Introduction: To introduce different types of foods and beverages visitors bring for postoperative patients. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted on 96 visitors of postoperative patients at Trakya University Hospital in Edirne, Turkey. Data were collected in face–to–face interviews (15 min) during visiting hours (02:00–04:00 p.m.) between August and September, 2015. The questionnaire included 15 questions on demographic characteristics, patient\visitor relation, visitor's knowledge of the type of patient's surgery, date of surgery, and the onset of patient's oral intake, the selected foods and\or drinks, and cause of such selection. Results: Based on the findings, 72.9% of the visitors had brought food for the patients, and soup was the most frequently selected food type (25.7%); also, 41.4% of the visitors had brought the food the patient had requested. In total, 74% of the visitors had brought drinks, with fruit juice accounting for 63.4% of the selected beverages; also, 53.5% of the visitors had brought the drink the patient had requested. By comparing the type of foods and drinks with the type and date of surgery, it was revealed that some visitors had brought pastries and biscuits for patients undergoing gastrectomy on the first postoperative day. Conclusion: It is recommended to control and manage the type of food products visitors bring for the patients during visiting hours. Moreover, visitors should be instructed on how to select foods or drinks for the patients.

First we introduce a new structure of uniform spaces, called se–uniform spaces, and provide some of their basic properties. Next, we present the notion of a soft E–distance in se–uniform spaces, which is a soft version of E–distance of Aamri and El Moutawakil [M. Aamri, D. El Moutawakil, Acta Math. Acad. Peadegog. Nyhazi., 20 (2004), 83–91]. Then, by using the soft E–distance, we establish some ﬁxed soft element theorems for various mappings on se–uniform spaces, which are the main results of the paper. This is the ﬁrst kind of such results in this direction.

Let X be a class of R–modules. In this paper, we investigate \;X–injective (projective) and DG–X–injective (projective) complexes which are generalizations of injective (projective) and DG–injective (projective) complexes. We prove that some known results can be extended to the class of \;X–injective (projective) and DG–X –injective (projective) complexes for this general settings.

In this study, the effects of mould materials on microstructure and mechanical properties of cast A356 Al alloy were investigated. The alloy was poured into three different moulds. Then the samples were homogenised and applied T6 heat treatment. The optical, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) studies were made. Secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) was measured by image analysis systems. Hardness and tensile tests were also performed. The ultimate tensile strength (UTS) values were evaluated by Weibull statistical analysis As a result of the studies, the highest values of SDAS were measured for the samples obtained using ceramic mould, which led to the slowest cooling rate, the lowest values of SDAS were measured for the samples obtained using chromite sand mould, which led to the highest cooling rate. The hardness values were increased about 2.5 times which samples were applied T6 heat treatment. The highest tensile strength was observed for the samples obtained using sand mould.
۵Homotopy perturbation method for three–dimensional problem of condensation film on inclined rotating disk

The three–dimensional problem of steady fluid deposition on an inclined rotating disk is illustrated in this study. The governing non–linear partial differential equations are reduced to the nonlinear ordinary differential equations system by similarity transform. The analytical solution applied to solve this system is the Homotopy Perturbation Method (HPM). The velocity and temperature profiles are shown and the influence of Prandtl number and rotation ratio on the flow field and the Nusselt number are discussed in detail. The validity of our solutions is verified by the numerical results.

In this study, the effect of freezing and thawing on the strength and permeability of two clayey soils (high and low plasticity), which had been stabilized with lime, were investigated. Before and after stabilization, the permeability and strength of the specimens were determined with various freeze–thaw cycles. Results of this study indicated that for both clays, 6% lime addition increased the hydraulic conductivity of the specimens 1000 times. However, the hydraulic conductivity of clay with 6% lime increased 10–20 times after only 3 freeze–thaw cycles. The results of strength tests exhibited different trends. The strength of stabilized high plasticity clay increased approximately 15 times at the end of 28 day curing, whereas the strength of stabilized low plasticity clay increased about 3 times only. The strength of both stabilized clays decreased 10–15% at the end of the freeze–thaw cycles.
۷The effect of dietary soybean meal on growth, nutrient utilization, body composition and some serum biochemistry variables of two banded seabream , Diplodus vulgaris (Geoffroy Saint–Hilaire, 1817)

This study was performed to determine the optimum level of soybean meal diets for two banded sea bream for growth performance, nutrient utilization, body composition and serum biochemistry. Two banded seabream were fed five experimental diets which were formulated replace fish meal by soybean meal at 0, 20, 30, 40 and 50%. Up to 40% of dietary fish meal was successfully replaced with no growth depression. Whole body composition of two banded seabream was not affected by soybean meal inclusion level. Total protein, triglyceride and total cholesterol of fish fed the SM50 diets were significantly lower compared to fish fed the soybean free diet. On the other hand, serum glucose level significantly increased as dietary soybean meal inclusion increased. Results showed that 40% fish meal can be replaced in diets for the two banded seabream by defatted soybean meal. Further studies to determine the inclusion level of soybean meal more than 40% with amino acid or enzyme supplementation are needed.
