۱Preparing high purity nano–size Cr2O3

High purity chromium (III) nano–oxide was prepared first by roasting melt of chromite ore and preparing sodium dichromate and then once by reaction between sodium dichromate and sulfur and another time by reaction of sodium dichromate and ammonium chloride. The morphology of the particles was investigated by SEM analysis at various calcination conditions. In addition, by using XRD the purity of particles was evaluated. The average size of particles that prepared by first method was 90–300 nm and by second method was 90–140nm. Nano particles showed loosely agglomerated structure.The synthesized Cr2O3 nanoparticles showed smaller size and lower degree of agglomeration compared with those of commercial products.<\div>
