Islam and Management: A brief literature reviewدومین کنفرانس بین المللی مدیریت در قرن 21
The present paper is an attempt to examine the relationship between Islamic notions of work and management and their relevance in the context of management studies. The emphasis is on comparison between Henry Fayol‟s principles and functions of human resource management with those concepts in Islam. The paper is based on facts gathered through review of textual sources. Some verses of Holy Quran (English Version) have been taken into consideration to prepare this paper. Authors are concluded with the fact that relationships like these between Islam and management can be generalized and findings can be used in line with western management.<\div>
