۱Humidity sensors based on high–field anodized porous alumina films

Improved humidity sensors based on porous anodized alumina (PAA) films were prepared via stable highfield anodization and subsequent isotropic chemical etching for appropriate times. The results reveal that sensitivity over a wide humidity range can be adjusted by changing the microstructure of the porous alumina layer, which can be explained in terms of the inhomogeneous distribution of anion impurities in the pore sidewall. The short response and recovery times obtained were ascribed to the ordered pore arrays and large pore size of the PAA films. This study has significance in tailoring the moisture sensitivity in the design of diverse sensors for practical applications.<\div>

Nano–CoFe2O4 is an active, stable, and reusable catalyst for selective oxidations of alcohols applying oxone (potassium hydrogen monopersulfat) as oxidant in the presence of acetonitrileas the solvent at room temperature. Primary and secondary aromatic and aliphatic alcohols gave the corresponding products in good yields. In addition, the catalysts could be reused up to 6 runs without significant loss of activities. Catalyst was characterized by SEM, XRD and IR.<\div>

۳Simulation of Dissolution Process of Hydrophobic Coated Core– Shell Particles at Interface of Two Immiscible Fluids

The main purpose of this paper is modeling and simulation of in–situ releasing of the nano size polymeric core and shell particle in the interface of two immiscible fluids. When these particles reach at the organic–aqueous interface the hydrophobic coating layer starts dissolving into the organic phase. After removing of the coat, the main inside polymer which is not soluble in the organic phase starts to diffuse back into the aqueous phase and increase the viscosity of theaqueous phase. In this paper, the governing equations of the process are obtained and numerically solved. The coating dissolution is considered as spherical diffusion followed by polymer chain disentanglement through a diffusion boundary layer. Moreover, a swellable–chain disentanglementmodel and concentration–dependent diffusion coefficient is considered for inside polymer dissolution into the aqueous phase which leads to a nonlinear partial differential equation with two moving boundries at both sides. Using finite difference scheme, the governing equation arenumerically solved by defining some dimensionless parameters for the main parameters as well as the moving boundaries. Finally, a sensitivity analysis is performed for investigating the impact of different parameters affecting the dissolution process<\div>
