۱Application of artificial neural networks for modeling of The Lighvan river by using Water Quality Index

Many factors can affect water quality. The WQI is one of the most widely used of all existing water quality procedures. The information in calculating the WQI of lighvan river allowed us to take our tests results and make a scientific conclusion about the quality of the water. The WQI of lighvan river consists of five tests: Fecal Coliform(F.C.), Biochemical Oxygen Demand(BOD5), Nitrates(NO3), Total Phosphate(PO4) and pH. After completing the five tests, the results are recorded and transferred to a weighting curve chart where a numerical value is obtained. For each test, the numerical value or Q–value is multiplied by a weighting factor. The proposed model based on artificial neural network (ANN) could predict the WQI of river lighvan. A comparison between the predicted results of the designed ANN model and experimental data was also conducted.<\div>

A high–rate programmable I\Q pulse mo&,ilator for ultra–wideband (UIlrB) transmitters in 5 8 10 6–GHz band is designedr .tsinga 0 I3–pm CMOS
technologt. To spread the signal spectrum in this frequency band, the transmitter modulates an 8–GHz carrier frequency into signals with Gaussian envelop and [–ns time–width. By increasing the time–width to 2– ns, it is also possible to utilize the modulator at each of the two sub–bands of 6 8 GHz and 8 10 GHz. It is sholvn thqt with Gaussian erwelop lower side–lobes are achieved, compared to both monocycle and triangular pulses. The modulator is designed trsing high–speed low–power digital structures of extended tnte single phase clock (ETSPC) and current mode logic (CtvIL). The power connmptionfrom 1.2–V power ntpply is as low as 4.5 mWfor the rate of 2 Gchip\s at 8–GHz centre
frequency.<\div>

۳Design of Ultra Wideband CMOS Low–Noise Amplifier using ResistiveS hunt–Feedback

In this paper an ultra–wideband (UWB) CfuIOS low noise amplifier (LNA) topologt that combines a narrowbancl LM with a resistive shuntfeedback
is proposed. The resistive shr.mt–feedback provides wideband inpr.i matching with small noise fgure (NF) degradation by reducing the Q–factor of the narrowband LNA inpttt and by flattening the pass–band gain. The proposed UWB amplifier is implemented in 0.l8pm CIUIOS technology for 3 1–10 6–GHz with a supply voltage of 1.8V. Simulations show a –3–dB gctin bandwidth of 3.5–10 GHz, a minimttm NF of 2 2 dB, a power gain of 12.2 dB, and a power dissipation of 23 4 mW.<\div>

This paper describes a 4–bit 4GS\s Jlash analog to digital converter for Direct–Sequence IJLI\B applications, using a 0.l8pm CTIOS technologt. The converter utilizes full custom logic, low noise preamplifiers, and fast compar(7tors with inductiveloads. The analog and digital power supplies are I 8V and 2.2V, respectively,a nd the power dissipation is only 68–mlt. The dffirential input *ving is IVpp at 1 8–V supply. Simulated erformance for 4GS\s shows 22.23 dB of SNDR at 1.5–GHz input frequency. The INL is –0.31\0.35 LSB, andthe DNL is –0 18\0.25 LSB.<\div>

In this paper the steady state thermoelasticity problem in a thick–walled cylinder containing an internal axial semi–elliptical crack is solved analytically. Thermal and mechanical boundary conditions are prescribed on the inner and outer surface surfaces of the cylinder. The steady state solution of the thermoelasticity problem is derived analytically and then, the stress intensity factors are extracted for the semi–elliptical crack using the weight function method. The results show to be in accordance with that cited in the literature in the special cases.<\div>

An industrial ethane thermal cracking reactor was modeled assuming a molecular mechanism for the reaction kinetics coupled with material, energy, and momentum balances of the reactant–product flow along the reactor. To carry out the optimization for two objectives such as conversion and ethylene selectivity, multi–objective the elitist non–dominated sorting genetic algorithm was used. The Pareto optimum set was obtained successfully and finally the effect of decision variable were discussed.<\div>

۸Renin–Angiotensin A1166C Polymorphism and the Rrisk of Stroke

Stroke is the leading cause of death and disability in the world after the cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Genetic factors have main significance to got stroke. Renin–angiotensin system contains candidate genes and polymorphisms for causing stroke. There are reported associations between stroke and angiotensin II type–1 receptor g. 1166A > C polymorphism (rs5186). Therefore in this study this association was investigated for the east Iranian population. This study is based on 201 stroke patients and 220 controls. To predict the genetic risk of stroke allele and genotype frequencies of angiotensin II type–1 receptor rs5186 were analyzed in this population according to stroke subtypes, gender, age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, high and low density lipoprotein and triglycerides. According to statistical analysis no significant difference was found between case and control groups. But there were a significant relevance between total cholesterol and stroke (p = 0.037). In this population angiotensin II type–1 receptor g. 1166A > C polymorphism did not increase the risk of stroke. The main reason for this study is complex nature of gene–environment interactions in the pathophysiology of this disease.
