Objective: This study is devoted to a relationship between irrational beliefs and severity of addiction in methadone treatment addicts in shahrood city, Iran. Method: the research was conducted between 56 addicts that was in treatment with methadone. They were selected with using Simple random sampling method then evaluated by Irrational Beliefs Test (IBT) and and severity of addiction Semi–structured interviews (ASI). Results: findings showed positive and significant relationship between total score of irrational beliefs and severity of addiction. the entire beliefs, These relationship was significant in: Anxious over concern (PA), Despondency (D), helplessness changes (HC),but relationship was not significant in: demand for approval (DA), high self–expectation (HSE), Blame proneness (BP), Frustration reactive (FR), emotional irresponsibility (EI), problem avoiding (PA),perfectionism (P). Conclusion: training and identifying irrational beliefs have a significant effect on reducing severity of addiction. This finding suggest that to reduce severity of addiction and prevention of social harms and treatment of addiction, irrational beliefs must be modified<\div>

Introduction: The study was examined effect of puberty education on knowledge, attitude and function in girl's student in Jiroft. Materials & Methods: this was a quasi experimental study and the target population was girl's student at grade 1 high school in jiroft city and 40 girls were selected and were educated in a 12 sessions. The content of the educational course including physical signs of puberty, physiologic change in menstrual period, nutrition, sleep and psychological changes. The subjects completed in pretest and posttest a researcher made questionnaire that measure knowledge, attitude and function. The data was analyzed using descriptive indexes, t– and F–tests. The significant level was considered in less than 0.05. Results: The results showed that the average difference between pre–test and post–test knowledge, attitude and function in both experimental and control groups was significant (p0.001). In the other words, the puberty education promoted the level of knowledge, attitude and function in the post test stage than pre–test (P0.001). Conclusion: Results maintained the importance of puberty education in improving knowledge, attitude and function of female students.

Introduction: The 2×2 model is the newest model of perfectionism that has been raised several hypotheses about the compatibility’s level of different types of perfectionism. The main aim of this study is to test these hypotheses.Methods: A hundred and ninety eight MA students were selected through a cluster random sampling and were divided into four groups based on perfectionism’s types with Hill perfectionism as a screening test. Afterwards, these four groups were compared using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) in terms of the components of general health and two personality characteristics (Neuroticism and Conscientiousness) to test the 2×2 model hypotheses.Results: Hypothesis1c and hypothesis 4 of the 2×2 model of perfectionism were accepted. This is was while the hypothesis 2 and hypothesis 3 were not accepted because the results of the research showed the mixed perfectionism is more maladaptive compared to the other combinations of ECP and PSP.Conclusion: It seems that the perfectionism tests –especially the Hill perfectionism inventory– are not able to measure the absolute adaptive perfectionism. Therefore, the main suggestion of the research is that future researchers may try to understand the characteristics of adaptive perfectionism and design the test that can measure the quite adaptive perfectionism.
